We will be handling the Spring wrestling seasion a bit differently this year than in years past.  For the smaller kids (PreK-4th grade) we will compress the season into two weeks and hold practice 4 nights a week.  This will allow our little wrestlers to get some good coaching and instruction but still be done with practices before the other spring sports begin.  This two week session will culminate with the Morgan Rec League Tournament which will be held at the high school on the evening of Thursday March 22nd.

Our older boys will have the exciting opportunity to be instructed by Coach John Kelly (the new Morgan High School coach) who has competed at the national and world level at Freestlye and Greco-Roman wrestling.  This season will last from February to mid-April and will require the wrestlers to purchase a USA Wrestling card.  Wrestlers who participated in the Fall season will be able to upgrade their folkstyle season card to the full USA card.  Details for both groups can be seen below.

PreK-4th Grade
Practice Dates: March 5th-8th, 12th-15th
Registration Date: March 5th 4:00 pm
Location: Morgan High School Wrestling Room
Practice Time: 4:00-5:00 pm
Cost: $30 (includes T-shirt and regsitration fee for the Morgan Rec League Tournament)
Style: Mostly Folkstyle to prepare kids for the Thursday night Rec League series that happens in March.

5th-12th Grade
Practice Dates: Tues & Thurs starting February 21st
Registration Date: February 21st 6:00 pm
Location Morgan High School Wrestling Room
Time: 6:00-8:00 pm
Cost: $100 (up to $50 refundable if a parent can help coach during the freestyle season)
Style: Freestyle & Greco-Roman (USA Wrestling card is required)
